MES adopts a set of evaluation standards and guidelines for program evaluation established by several international evaluation societies.These guidelines and principles are broadly intended to cover all kinds of evaluation and to guide the professional practice of evaluators. The standards are used as guidelines to foster continuous development in the practice and application of evaluation among members of the profession.

MES works closely with many institutions and the Ministry of Finance to design and implement evaluation and monitoring capacity-building programs within the public sector.
