Evaluation guidelines and standards

MES adopts a set of evaluation standards and guidelines for program evaluation established by several international evaluation societies.These guidelines and principles are broadly intended to cover all kinds of evaluation and to guide the professional practice of evaluators. The standards are used as guidelines to foster continuous development in the practice and application of evaluation among members of the profession.

MES Collaborations

MES works closely with many institutions and the Ministry of Finance to design and implement evaluation and monitoring capacity-building programs within the public sector. MES has been actively involved with supporting and assisting the formation of evaluation societies for a number of countries in Asia and Africa and the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE).

The African Community of Practice on Managing for Development Results

Promotes learning and  knowledge among public managers, organisations, executive agencies and practitioners on how to manage better for developments. The AfCoP is a networking platform with its purpose to increase knowledge sharing activities among its members, to expand its membership participation, initiatives on Capacity Building & Knowledge Management and in Monitoring & Evaluation implementation initiatives.
Dr Arunaselam Rasappan from MES was among the lead moderators for the discussion topics like Institutionalization of MfDR and IRBM.
